for Parks: Big Cypress National Preserve - Hundreds of South
Florida residents are expected to participate in this national awareness
event that aims to expose South Floridas diverse communities to its
local national park sites. This year, area residents will have the
opportunity to explore the Kirby Storter Boardwalk area located within
Big Cypress National Preserve.

- The Yuma Civic Center has a full calendar of events this month
featuring 'Midnight at the Oasis' - the southwest's largest classic car
show; the Travelogue Film “LaBelle France”; a Tribute to Elvis Concert;

'Carnival
of Illusion' Historic & Heroic Run of Shows - in Tucson, AZ:
Entertainers and nationally touring illusionists are setting the stage
for a historic run of 52 performances in Tucson! Sarlot & Eyed's
Carnival of Illusion recreates an intimate experience of magic that was
popular in the mid 1800s
The
Raven Players Performances in Healdsburg, CA: Upcoming featured
performances include: Jan. 22-Feb. 21 - '2 by 5' The Broadway Hits of
Kander and Ebb; Apr. 16-May 9 - 'Our Town' by Pulitzer Prize winner
Thornton; and June 25-July 25 - 'Cats' based upon “Old Possum’s Book of
Practical Cats” by T.S. Eliot.
"School's
Out" Programs at Fort Stanwix National Monument, NY
- The
Marinus Willett Collections Management & Education Center features
exhibits that explore the story of Fort Stanwix and the Mohawk Valley
through the eyes of the people who lived in New York during the American
Revolutionary War. "Make a Difference" is this year’s theme for the
"School’s Out at the Fort" programs. Events will include an activity and
a take-home project.
